How to Enter

We've tried to make entering the awards as easy as possible. First you’ll need to click on the Enter Now button where you’ll be taken to the registration page to create your account if you don't already have one. You’ll be taken through the steps to do this.

Once your account is created you can choose which category/ies you’d like to enter from the drop down menu.

You can then let loose on writing your entries! You can save your entries and come back to them later, or you can do them all in one hit.

Please note the word counts are there for a reason! You won’t be able to save your work if you go over them, and you won’t be able to submit your entries.

Once you’re ready to submit you can add them to your basket and go through the submission process.

Your first entry costs £35, subsequent entries will be charged at £5 each. We also have three free to enter categories; Best Podcast Jingle, Best Podcast Artwork and Best Video Podcast, but you'll have to have entered one of the paid for categories in order to enter these.

How To Write Your Entry

It can feel quite overwhelming starting an awards entry, so we've put together some tips on what the best practice is.

Tell the story of your podcast, make it interesting and highlight what makes your podcast special. The judges will be reading about, and listening to, lots of other shows so make sure you stand out from the crowd.

Make sure you always back up what you’re saying:

  • If you say you  have X amount of downloads - put in screen grabs to show your stats
  • 5 star reviews - put some in
  • Great testimonials - include some

Stick to the word counts but make sure it still makes sense! The word counts are there for a reason, and you won’t be able to submit if you go over them. But make sure your citation still makes sense while sticking to the word count.

Clips from the show

In a change to previous years, we would like you to upload 3 clips totalling no more than 30 mins across all of the clips. All clips submitted must be from episodes from between 1st June 2025-31st May 2026.

By submitting clips the judges will know exactly which section you want to show off, and it won't be affected by ad placements. This can either be a continuous section of each episode (for example 3 x 10 minute clips), or a compilation of different sections from the show.

If you can't edit your selection into clips then we will accept links to the episodes instead, but you must provide timestamps and these must be continuous sections of the show so the judges don't have to hunt around for the content. If these are behind a paywall or for subscribers only you must provide free access for our judges.

Make sure you choose the clips you submit carefully:

  • If you're entering the music category, do you talk about music in the clip?
  • Make sure you don't accidentally upload the same clip twice - check everything before you submit your entry!
  • Do the clips make sense out of context?
  • Do they show your hosts in the best light?
  • Do they showcase the range of guests you have?
  • Don’t just put in your 15 min intro for each one
  • What makes your podcast unique - include this
  • Choose something that includes a brilliant moment or something that made you all laugh, or was particularly poignant

Are you all set and ready to submit your podcast into the awards? Then let's go...
