The judges have judged, the votes have been counted, and for UK independent podcasting talent, the big moment has arrived: the nominations for the 2024 Independent Podcast Awards have now been announced.

With well over 400 entries received in this year’s awards, our team of experts were blown away by the incredible talent on show from the indie podcasting community. It was a fun but tough job for them to narrow it down to those on the list.

Hundreds of UK podcasts have been recognised, across a broad field of subjects. In fact, so popular was the Educational category that it alone now features four different awards.

Last year’s double-winner - Celebrity Catch Up: Life After That Thing I Did - is nominated again, along with a few other returning shows, and a whole host of new talent too.

The winners will be announced at a laid back ceremony at Kings Place in Kings Cross, London on Wednesday 23rd October. Tickets are priced at £49 each, and are available now from the Kings Place box office here: kingsplace.co.uk/whats-on/words/independent-podcast-awards-2024/

On the big night - the biggest party of the year for UK independent podcasters - guests will be treated to drinks on arrival, followed by the awards ceremony, and afterwards the party will continue in the Acast Arms. Event partners for 2024 are Acast, Adelicious, Advertising Week, AudioUK, Captivate, Podknows Podcasting, Rusty Quill and Spotify.
