The Independent Podcast Awards team has announced that the deadline to enter the 2023 awards has been extended to midnight on Friday 14th July.

The original deadline was this Friday 30th June, but in order to allow as many independent podcasters to get their entries in as possible, this has now been extended - by popular request - for two extra weeks.

Launched in collaboration with Em from the Verbal Diorama podcast, the awards are looking for the truly independent talent from the UK and Ireland. Those that make their pods in backrooms, in their spare time, and without the pressures of upsetting their sponsors along the way.

With 18 categories available to enter, including two free categories - Best Artwork and Best Jingle - the awards have something for all podcasters.

Funding is available for qualifying podcasters via the Podcasting, Seriously fund, making the awards more accessible to more people.
